What we build

Four kinds of work make up most of what clients bring us. If yours does not fit neatly into one of them, say so on the call and we will tell you straight whether we are the right shop.

Custom web applications

Product work from a blank repo to production. React and Next.js on the front, TypeScript and Postgres behind it, deployed on infrastructure your team can actually operate.

Internal tools & dashboards

The admin panels, reporting views, and operational screens that never make the roadmap. We build the thing your ops team has been running out of a spreadsheet.

Automation & integrations

Connect the systems you already pay for. Billing, CRM, support, and data warehouse, wired together so the handoffs stop being somebody's manual Monday morning.

Rescue & modernization

Inherited a codebase nobody wants to touch? We audit it, stabilize the parts that are bleeding, and lay out a migration path that does not require stopping the business.

How an engagement runs

The same four steps every time, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.

  1. 01

    Scope call

A 45 minute conversation about the problem, the constraints, and what done looks like. No charge, no deck.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

You get a fixed scope, a delivery schedule, and a price in writing before any work starts. If it is not a fit, we say so.

  3. 03

    Build in the open

Weekly demos against a shared board. You see working software every week, not a status update about working software.

  4. 04

    Handoff or stay on

You own the code and the accounts from day one. Keep us on a maintenance retainer or take it in house. Both are fine.

Engagement models

Pricing depends on scope, so we quote each engagement individually. Every proposal states the full price and the payment schedule in writing before any work begins.

Project

A defined build with a fixed scope and a fixed price.

Best for a new product, a rebuild, or a specific feature that needs to ship.

  • Fixed scope agreed up front
  • Milestone based billing
  • Typically 4 to 12 weeks
  • 30 days of post launch support

Most common

Retainer

A recurring block of engineering capacity each month.

Best for ongoing product work where the roadmap moves faster than a fixed scope can.

  • Reserved capacity each month
  • Priorities set at the start of each sprint
  • Rolling monthly, cancel with 30 days notice
  • Direct Slack access to the team

Advisory

Architecture review, technical due diligence, and a second opinion.

Best when you have a team already and need someone senior to pressure test the plan.

  • Codebase and architecture audit
  • Written findings and recommendations
  • Hiring and stack guidance
  • Billed hourly or per engagement

Common questions

Why is there no price list?

Because scope drives cost and no two engagements have the same scope. Every proposal we send has a firm number in it before you commit to anything. There are no hourly surprises on fixed scope work.

How do you charge?

Projects bill against milestones. Retainers bill monthly in advance. Advisory work bills hourly or per engagement. Invoices are issued electronically and payable by card or bank transfer.

Who owns the code?

You do. Ownership of all deliverables transfers to you on final payment, and you hold the repository, hosting, and vendor accounts throughout the engagement.

How fast can you start?

Scope calls are usually available inside a week. Start dates depend on current capacity, which we will tell you honestly on the call rather than after you have signed.

Tell us what you are trying to ship.

Scope calls are free and there is no pitch deck. Bring the problem and we will tell you what it takes to solve it.
